Apex Legends is Getting Team Deathmatch on February 14

As part of its upcoming season, titled Revelry, Apex Legends is replacing its old Arenas game mode with Team Deathmatch.

Battle royale Apex Legends, as part of its new season next week, will be getting a team deathmatch mode. The mode is slated to come to Apex Legends on February 16 as a free update.

The new team deathmatch mode in Apex Legends is slated to be quite similar to other games with team deathmatch. Games will feature two teams of 6 players each, and the first team to reach 30 kills will win the round. The first team to win two rounds will win the match.

The team deathmatch mode will give players the ability to pick between various loadouts—close-quarters, heavy, assault, specialist, and long range. Each loadout will equip the player with two weapons along with a grenade.

Apex Legends‘ team deathmatch hopes to essentially replace the older Arenas mode. Interestingly, the new season will also not be bringing a new playable character to the game. Instead, the game as a whole will see some major re-balancing around each character and the game’s class system.

Apex Legends is available on PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S, and Nintendo Switch.
