Arizona Sunshine 2 Announced for PS VR2 and PC VR, Out in 2023

Post-apocalyptic VR shooter Arizona Sunshine is getting a sequel coming to PlayStation VR2 and PC VR.

Developer Vertigo Games has unveiled the sequel to its VR shooter, Arizona Sunshine. Titled Arizona Sunshine 2, the game was announced alongside a trailer which you can check out below. Arizona Sunshine 2 will be coming to PlayStation VR2 as well as PC VR later this year.

Players will once again take on the role of the series protagonist as they set out on a journey in a post-apocalyptic world filled with zombies. Players can wield new weapons, as well as returning fan-favourites. The arsenal this time around features everything from shotguns to machetes to flamethrowers.

Arizona Sunshine 2 also features a new melee combat system, as well as a companion in the form of Buddy, who will help players take down Freds in the game.

The game features a new cinematic story mode, and boasts next-gen VR environments and gameplay. It also features a new mutilation and gore system to allow for more visceral action at range as well as in melee.

Vertigo Games has stated on the game’s Steam page that more features for the upcoming title will be revealed later.
