Developer FromSoftware has announced that it is aware of an issue with the PC release of Armored Core 6: Fires of Rubicon where some players are facing problems with their save data. The studio has stated that it is currently in the process of investigating the issue.
“In the PC version of ARMORED CORE VI FIRES OF RUBICON, there is a problem that save data is not saved properly under certain circumstances,” said the studio on its Japanese Twitter account. “We are currently investigating the cause, but please end the game before putting your PC to sleep. We apologize for any inconvenience caused to our customers.”
Armored Core 6: Fires of Rubicon was released back in August, and has seen quite a bit of success since launch. The game made its debut by topping the weekly UK retail charts, while also staying on top of Japanese charts, having sold over 163,000 copies in the country.
The game has seen quite a bit of critical acclaim. The studio even released a trailer shortly after its launch to highlight some of the accolades the game has gotten through various reviews. Our own review awarded the game a 9 out of 10, calling it a wonderful return to form for the franchise.
