Though it isn’t going to dwarf the size of FromSoftware’s Elden Ring, Armored Core 6: Fires of Rubicon is reportedly a meaty experience on its own. Several publications and content creators went hands-on with the game recently. Fextralife notes that they played 11 missions, which took three hours, and told that the total playtime is 50 to 60 hours.
It doesn’t mean a total of 220 missions or some such figure, especially since missions get longer as one progresses. There are also the pre and post-mission briefings which add on some time. Whether that playtime includes any side content, Armored Core customization, the Arena, etc, is unknown.
As such, there will be plenty of reasons to play the game due to multiple endings and a “variety” of modes. PvP is also rumored for up to six players, though further details are still pending. Stay tuned for an official announcement in the coming weeks.
Armored Core 6: Fires of Rubicon launches on August 25th for Xbox Series X/S, PS5, PS4, PC, and Xbox One.
