There’s an event which will be held in the UK on February 27, and according to a few sources, a new Assassin’s Creed game will be announced there. We will be covering that event, but the game in question could possibly be Assassin’s Creed 4, according to a few CV leaks.
The game will feature a new protagonist and a new setting–World War 2–and it’s not clear whether it will release on next-gen platforms or not. The PS4 was announced recently and the Xbox 720 will be revealed in a few months.
These LinkedIn CVs have been updated and the Assassin’s Creed 4 mention does not exist there, but Videogamer managed to grab a screenshot, and it all but confirms that a new game is coming this year. Ubisoft themselves said that a new Assassin’s Creed game is in development.
The site reports that “An audio artist at Ubisoft Montreal, a UI artist Ubisoft Bucharest, and a dev tester at Ubisoft Annecy each had the unannounced title listed on their online CVs last night, with the latter dating the game for a 2013 release.”
Here’s the screenshot they captured:
The game will be announced tomorrow and we will post whatever information we have on it on GamingBolt.
