Assassin’s Creed IV: Black Flag is a sequel to Assassin’s Creed III (duh), but only in terms of its real-world story. The ancestral story, experienced by a user who goes back in time to analyze memory fragments from former protagonist Desmond, is a prequel though. Players take control of Edward Kenway, a ruthless pirate who is the grandfather of AC3’s protagonist Connor.
Nonetheless, much has been made about the real-world story progresses. We also learned that the new Abstergo Entertainment features several different Animus users, and is billed as a hip, fun place to work at. You know, post the return of Juno and her less than holy ways of meting out divine punishment. Check out just what Abstergo has in store for you as you progress its brightly lit, trendy halls.
Assassin’s Creed IV: Black Flag is scheduled to release on October 29th for Xbox 360, PlayStation 3 and Wii U, with next-gen and PC releases set for Q4 2013.
