Assassin’s Creed Mirage is Getting New Game Plus and Permadeath Mode in December

The new modes will be added as part of a free update, though a specific release date hasn't yet been confirmed.

Assassin’s Creed Mirage was built as a shorter, more focused, and more concise experience than what we’ve grown accustomed to in Assassin’s Creed games in recent years, but those who’ve finished the game and want to dive back in for some more will soon have some new options to do so.

Since the game’s launch, a New Game Plus mode has been heavily requested by players, and Ubisoft has apparently been listening. In a post published on X, the company has confirmed that it will be adding New Game Plus to Assassin’s Creed Mirage as part of a free update in December. Additionally, the update will also bring a permadeath mode that’ll be available to players across all difficulties.

A specific release date for the update hasn’t been confirmed yet, but Ubisoft says it will be revealing more details on the aforementioned upcoming additions “soon”, so stay tuned.

Assassin’s Creed Mirage is available on PS5, Xbox Series X/S, PS4, Xbox One, and PC. Read our review of the game through here.
