Assassin’s Creed Odyssey’s Latest Lost Tales Of Greece Is Live Now; August Update Will Include Discovery Mode

A new tale is here now, with the popular Discovery Mode coming this month.

It’s been quite a road for Assassin’s Creed Odyseey. Perhaps more so than any other single player title in recent memory, it’s been supported with a massive amount of content. It recently finished its second expansion, which ended the game’s lengthy narrative (you can read our review of that here). But while the main journey is over, the road itself goes on. Today we got the latest in the free Lost Tales Of Greece side missions, with even more coming soon.

The latest Lost Tales of Greece is called Old Flames Burn Brighter and involves a quest where Kassandra/Alexios receives an invitation from Anais, an old friend, to visit her farm in Arkadia. That quest is live now.

The next update will also come near the end of the month and includes the return of the popular Discovery Mode, where you can play through an educational based mode that aims to teach some real world lessons on Ancient Greece. The mode was first introduced in the previous title, Origins, and was a big hit.

Assassin’s Creed Odyssey is available now for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC. It will launch in November on Google’s Stadia. Old Flames Burn Brighter is live now across all versions of the game. The next update, 1.5.0, which will include Discovery Mode, will release August 27th.
