One of the most anticipated releases of the month – indeed, for the rest of the year – is the upcoming Assassin’s Creed Origins, the action RPG soft reboot of Ubisoft’s long running and previously fatigued flagship franchise that returns after taking last year off.
Microsoft has the marketing, co-branding, and bundling rights for this game, arguably their biggest asset on the multiplatform game front going into this Holiday season. And they have announced two new Xbox One S bundles with the game to capitalize on that.
The two bundles will be largely identical, with the console’s storage space being the one point of difference- one will be 500GB, the other will be 1TB. Both will come not just with Assassin’s Creed Origins, but also Rainbow Six Siege, as well as a 1 month trial for Xbox Game Pass, and a 14 day one for Xbox Live Gold. The bundles will be $300 and $350 respectively, though it sounds like only the 1TB one might be available in the US.
Assassin’s Creed Origins launches on October 27 for PS4, Xbox One, and PC.
