Ubisoft finally revealed Assassin’s Creed: Syndicate, the next game in the Assassin’s Creed franchise that will take place during the Industrial Revolution in London and focus on the gap between the poor and the rich. Developed by Ubisoft Quebec and eight other studios, Assassin’s Creed: Syndicate follows Jacob and Evie Frye, two Assassins look to challenge the plutocrats and Templars to gain back control of London.
Syndicate will be the largest, most modern game in the series till date and features new tools like the grappling hook to quickly scale up to rooftops. You can also use a zipline to quickly traverse between buildings. New weapons showcased include the revolver, kukri knife and brass knuckles.
Marc-Alexis Côté, creative director at Ubisoft, stated that,”The ability to lead an underground gang, commandeer any vehicle on hand and use modern tools to take on an expansive and fast-paced Victorian London sets this game apart. Assassin’s Creed Syndicate has been in development for more than two years and this new modern take on the living open world will please Assassin’s Creed fans and newcomers alike.”
Assassin’s Creed: Syndicate will be out on October 23rd for Xbox One, PS4 and PC.
