Ubisoft has released a bunch of new details for Assassin’s Creed Valhalla, from new gameplay footage to hardware requirements for the PC version. It’s also outlined an extensive list of accessibility features, some which may be of interest for stealth fans. The standard options are available such as remappable controls, choosing toggle or hold inputs and so on.
Quick Time Events can be customized to be a one-time press or button hold; screen shake can be disabled; and there are four different settings for fights. There are also three settings for customizing stealth and exploration each. But perhaps the best option is enabling guaranteed assassinations, which will kill a target no matter what their level is.
Interestingly, Ubisoft also mentions full progression and gameplay customization. “From choosing skill tree progression and ability upgrades to putting together diverse weapons, tools, and armor loadouts, you will be able to customize your play-style to suit your individual strengths.” Does this mean alleviating a lot of the grind that’s pervaded the past few titles? Time will tell.
Assassin’s Creed Valhalla is out on November 10th for Xbox Series X/S, Xbox One, PS4, Google Stadia and PC. It arrives on November 12th for PS5. Stay tuned for more details in the meantime.
