The latest entry in Ubisoft’s historical fiction series is going Viking with Assassin’s Creed Valhalla. As with all of these games, one has to wonder just how big the map is going to be this time. They’ve gradually gotten more and more grand, with 2017’s Odyssey being almost absurd. Well, we won’t be able to say for sure until the game releases, but it was confirmed one area will be in the game, and it’s a classic so to speak
Creative Director Ashraf Ismail already talked about the size of the map, and how much of the Four Kingdoms we’ll be seeing. On Twitter, user asked him if we would see the iconic Stonehenge, which is firmly in the southern regions of the UK, and he replied with what seems to be a pretty excited yes. That’ll give geography buffs something to speculate on until the game’s release, potentially sometime in October.
Assassin’s Creed Valhalla will release this holiday season for PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X, Xbox One, PC and Stadia.
