Alongside new consoles come, of course, a lot of new software. One company that has always been keen to be alongside just about any hardware launch is Ubisoft, and this upcoming generation of systems is no different. The big title they plan to launch with them is Assassin’s Creed Valhalla, the latest entry in the popular franchise that’s promising all kinds of adventures and mysteries to unfold. Now we also have an idea of what kind of space you’ll need on the Xbox side of things.
The listing for the game has been updated on the Xbox store with a file size requirement of 50.01 GB, which you can see here. As you can also see, this includes all three Xbox systems the game will launch on, so it’s unclear if this is universal size or not, but most likely it may be more on next gen systems, since we know the game is targeting the 4K on the Series X at least (it’s not been stated what resolution Series S is targeting), but at the very least, 50 GB will be your minimum starting point it looks like.
Assassin’s Creed Valhalla will launch on November 10th for PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X, Xbox Series S, Xbox One, PC and Stadia. And yes, both next gen consoles are targeting 4K and 60 FPS.
