Atlus is Preparing “Several New Unannounced Titles”

The publisher already has Persona 4 Golden and Persona 3: Portable coming to new platforms this month, and GrimGrimoire OnceMore in April.

Among the many developers kicking off this month is Atlus, which has Persona 3: Portable and Persona 4 Golden coming to Xbox, PS4, Nintendo Switch and PC. However, it seems there’s more to announce this year. A Famitsu article featured several New Year’s greetings from developers, and Atlus revealed (translation via Persona Central) that it was “preparing several new unannounced titles.”

Many no doubt want a new mainline Persona title, which could still happen, but we may also learn more about Project Re Fantasy. Announced in 2017, the fantasy RPG is directed by Katsura Hashino of Persona 5 fame. Atlus revealed in 2021 that it was making progress “little by little,” so this year may possibly see more details.

In the meantime, Vanillaware’s GrimGrimoire OnceMore, remaster of its 2007 PS2 real-time strategy game, is out on April 4th for PS4, PS5, and Nintendo Switch. Check out the latest trailer here and stay tuned for more updates in the coming months.
