A new trailer is available for open world action RPG Atomic Heart but with a twist. It’s in-engine footage but running in real-time with Nvidia RTX, which means ray-traced visuals. Furthermore, the developer confirmed that DLSS is also supported for super-sampling. Check out the trailer below.
The trailer is about the Universal Polymer Vaccination going wrong. If that’s not enough information, then know that the story takes place in an alternative USSR. Robots, holograms and so on are a thing but not without consequence. As a Special Duty KGB officer, players must investigate Facility 3826 and deal with a robot control system that’s gone berserk.
What’s causing the robots to malfunction and other oddities will doubtless form the crux of the story. For now, Atomic Heart is shaping up to match BioShock in weirdness, at the very least. It’s currently in development for Xbox Series X/S, PS5, PS4, Xbox One, and PC.
