Though Ubisoft has said next to nothing about Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora since first unveiling it a couple of years ago, in the last few weeks, plenty of details have emerged on the game thanks to leaks being posted on Twitter by known Ubisoft leaker @ScriptLeaksR6. That has entailed details on the first person open world title’s pre-orders, a new gameplay screenshots, and extensive information on its world, story, combat, and more.
Now, the leaker has taken to Twitter once again to post some more brief details about the game. Allegedly, Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora will also have online and co-op elements- though exactly what form they will take remains to be seen. Considering that the game comes from Massive Entertainment, the studio behind The Division, that wouldn’t be the most surprising thing in the world.
Meanwhile, the leaker also claims that the open world title will also have in-game purchasable currency packs, which, in turn, would imply that it will make use of microtransactions. Meanwhile, it will allegedly also have a welcome pack and a season pass, though details on what those will include haven’t been shared yet.
A Ubisoft Forward showcase is set for June 12, so there’s a good chance that we’ll be getting official details on the game at that time.
Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora is set to launch for PS5, Xbox Series X/S, and PC sometime before April 2024.
