Battlefield 2042 Tech Test Leakers Might Be Banned From Full Game, EA Warns

A warning issued by EA states that players who share screenshots and videos of Battlefield 2042's closed test will be banned from the full game.

EA has recently issued a public warning to players involved in the Battlefield 2042 test test, citing that those who break the NDA (Non Disclosure Agreement) will be banned from the full game, and access to the technical preview will be cut immediately.

A number of videos and screenshots for the game have been circulating around online alongside leaks, which has led EA lead community manager Adam Freeman to post a long Twitter thread detailing the rules and what would happen to players who break them, of course. Technical previews are still live, and EA has plans of testing cross-play features very soon.

EA has also confirmed that it would be hosting an open beta session for the game ahead of launch, starting September 4 up until the 11th for those who pre-order. The Redwood-based publishing giant has confirmed its presence for Gamescom this year, and fans can expect to learn more about Battlefield 2042 at the conference.
