EA has revealed a new video touting the ability to pre-load the PC version of DICE’s Battlefield 4. More interesting than the ability to do the same, the video reveals that the overall pre-load size is 28.3 GB. Check out the video at the 0:30 mark for confirmation.
Battlefield 4 will occupy roughly 30 GB of hard disk space, but it will also require 8 GB of RAM and Windows 8 64-bit to run properly. Check out the PC system requirements here. And to think that it’s 10 GB less than the PC version of Call of Duty: Ghosts’ install size, which stands at 40 GB.
Battlefield 4 will be releasing on October 29th in North America and November 1st in Europe for Xbox 360, PS3 and PC. It will also launch for PlayStation 4 on November 15th/29th in North America/Europe, while the Xbox One version will release on November 22nd across 13 territories worldwide. Stay tuned for more information and our official review for the game when it releases.
