Battlefield V looks to be shaping up nicely and we’ve already been able to learn quite a bit about all of the new features that the game has in store for us. It was recently revealed that the game would also include Battle Royale mode and in a recent interview with Geoff Keighley, Design Director Daniel Berlin revealed some more details about this new mode.
As of now, they haven’t yet decided on a name for the mode and since it is still a bit far from the game’s release, there are some details that haven’t been shared yet. Berlin stated, “What I can say is that it’s going to be our depiction of Royale and it’s going to lean into the core DNA of Battlefield.” This will include signature features such as vehicular combat, destruction, and more.
We also got to learn that this mode will be added on later as part of post-launch content and as of now, no details regarding a release date for this mode has been shared. Hopefully, we’ll get to learn more soon enough.
