That Battlefield 5 will be giving players much more customization options in every aspect of its gameplay, from vehicles to cosmetics to weapons, is something that DICE have been banking on heavily in the build up to the game’s launch. As per new images that have been posted on Reddit, giving us a look at weapon customization, that definitely seems to be true.
You can take a look at all thirteen images below, giving you a look at the customization screens of weapons, as well as how these look in and out of battle with different attachments. The focus in these images seems to be on the different kinds of sights your weapons can be equipped with, which range from custom reflex sights, to iron sights, to medium scopes.
Additionally, it also looks like you can change the look of these sights as well (which I assume applies to other weapon attachments as well)- you can see options such as “Sprayed Green”, “Pattern Woodland”, and “Urban Tactical” in the images below. On top of sights, the other attachments of your weapons you can customize are- muzzle, barrel, magazine, receiver, reargrip, and stock.
While weapon customization seems to be quite extensive, disappointingly enough, vehicle customization isn’t going to be included in Battlefield V at launch. You can read more on that through here. Additionally, recently we also learned that the battle royale mode (which also isn’t included in the game at launch) is not being developed by DICE.
Battlefield 5’s open beta begins on September 4, while the full game launches for the PS4, Xbox One, and PC on October 19.
