Battlefield 5’s Latest Update Mostly Fixes Crash Issues

The latest update for DICE's shooter is a relatively minor one.

As previously promised, DICE has rolled out a relatively smaller update for Battlefield 5. Version 1.05 doesn’t make a lot of major changes, but a handful of known bugs and crashes have been ironed out with the new update, which is now out on PS4, Xbox One, and PC.

DICE’s global community manager Dan Mitre recently put up an update on Reddit, wherein he detailed the changes made by the newest patch. In addition to crash fixes in the Nordlys War Story, the Practice Range when playing with squads, and the Tides of War menu, the patch also fixes broken audio in tutorials.

Other issues, such as players getting spotted on the mini-map after killing an enemy, or high-level Recon players losing access to throwing knives, are also among the issues that have been addressed. You can take a look at the full patch notes below.

Just last week, Overture, chapter 1 of Tides of War, was made available for free to all Battlefield 5 players. The update that introduced it also made a slew of other significant changes. Read more on that through here.
