DICE’s global community manager, Dan Mitre has put up an update on Reddit that details what the studio’s got planned by way of updates and events as Battlefield V approaches its global launch. While the game’s already playable for Origin Access Premier subscribers on PC, it’ll be playable for all those who pre-ordered the Deluxe Edition on all three platforms on November 15th, two days from now.
On that day, DICE will be hosting a livestream for the game to celebrate the Deluxe Edition’s launch. On November 14th though, ahead of the launch, an update for the game will be going live that will address “some major issues”. What these major issues are is something we’ll find out on the day itself, when DICE releases the patch notes to go along with the update.
November 14 will also see DICE holding an AMA session on Reddit about the game- or as they’re calling it, an AMAA (Ask Me Almost Anything). So if there’s anything you’re curious about before the Deluxe Edition’s launch, you might want to get your questions in. The first version of DXR will also be enabled on PC, while DICE will also be posting a blog that talks about “how Nvidia Geforce RTX Ray Tracing improves reflections in Battlefield V on PC.”
For those who didn’t pre-order the Deluxe Edition or are not subscribed to EA’s subscription services on PC or Xbox One, Battlefield V launches globally on November 20 for PS4, Xbox One, and PC. If you want to know more about the game, be sure to check out our review through here.
