Anthem is not what we expect a BioWare game to be, clearly enough, but that hasn’t stopped us or countless other people being extremely excited about the upcoming game. It seems like a wonderful concept with a lot of potential, and though there’s definitely the chance that BioWare are unable to pull it off properly, we’ve still been following the game’s development pretty closely.
And it seems like it’s taken a pretty major step forward in that development process. BioWare’s Alain Baxter and Jonathan Warner (the latter being the director of Anthem) themselves both recently took to Twitter, and they both mentioned that Anthem has had a “milestone review” recently. It seems to me like they’ve play-tested a pretty major feature that’s going to be included in the game as well and then put it through quality assurance.
It’s definitely encouraging that the development of Anthem is going along smoothly, especially in context of everything we’ve heard and read of the troubled development of BioWare’s very own Mass Effect: Andromeda. Anthem launches in 2018 for the Xbox One, PS4 and PC. Stay tuned to GamingBolt for continued coverage.
