Soon after Microsoft’s acquisition of Activision Blizzard has been completed, Xbox leadership visited the headquarters of Blizzard Entertainment in Irvine, California, to address the staff for the first time.
According to Windows Central, the visit by Xbox executives, which included Phil Spencer, Matt Booty and Sarah Bond, among others, was described as a low-key, with Spencer telling the staff that he had “no answers” right now.
According to the report, the visit was for the sake of the studio, with Spencer stating that Xbox is currently listening to the needs of the staff at Blizzard, and wants to allow the studio to achieve its visions and dreams.
Microsoft completed its acquisition of Activision Blizzard earlier this month. The company has since gone on to reveal that it would still take at least year before Blizzard or Activision games would show up on its Xbox Game Pass service. Spencer has also stated earlier this month that he would like to revisit older Activision Blizzard titles.
