Borderlands 3 Trailer Showcases The Origins of Moze and Iron Bear

Learn more about the Gunner and her BFF/guardian mech.

Gearbox Software’s Borderlands 3 may have featured gameplay of Moze and her Iron Bear mech at E3 2019. However, much like Zane the Operative, the Gunner has her own character trailer that shines a light on her origins. Check it out below.

As the trailer reveals, Moze’s squad was killed during a mission. She survived and with Iron Bear in her possession, Moze roamed the frontier trying to get by. Some of Iron Bear’s functions – like Moze piloting it from the inside or acting autonomously – carry over into the actual gameplay. Some of the other abilities like locking on and firing missiles weren’t showcased.

Still, there’s a common theme that’s being formed around the Vault Hunters till now: They’re all loners. Granted, Zane still treats his Digi-Clone like a person and Moze is BFFs with Iron Bear. But so far, both seem insistent that they don’t really need anyone else. How will that reflect in the story for Borderlands 3? We’ll find out when it releases on September 13th for Xbox One, PS4, and PC.
