Gearbox’s Borderlands 3 is out in September, but there’s still a lot to see before then. So despite already having showcased gameplay for the same, the developer has released a new trailer focusing on Zane the Operative. As a semi-retired hitman – one who took a number of “jobs” throughout his career – Zane’s best company usually turns out to be himself.
Zane possesses three different Action Skills – Barrier, Digi-Clone, and SNTNL. The Digi-Clone will draw aggro from enemies and even fire at them, but Zane can also switch places with it when necessary. SNTNL is a drone with machine guns that can be directed towards foes. Barrier, as the name implies, allows Zane to block damage with a force-field. Firing through it will increase Gun Damage, but carrying it will reduce the size and damage bonus.
Other Vault Hunters revealed till now include Amara the Siren, Moze the Commando, and FL4K the Beastmaster (who we’ve yet to see any real gameplay for). Borderlands 3 is out on September 13th for Xbox One, PS4, and PC, so there’s still time yet. Stay tuned for more details in the coming weeks.
