With Borderlands 4 recently going gold ahead of its launch, new gameplay continues to roll out. Game Informer released some more footage of Carcadia Burn, one of the four regions that players will traverse in their quest to defeat the Timekeeper. While previously seen here, this is a more extended look and outlines more of the region’s barren landscape.
A conversation with Zane and Mad Moxxi is revealed in greater detail, with the player venturing with the former and platforming across significant gaps. We also learn more about the Ripper Queen and how she used to go by General Callis before removing the Timekeeper’s Bolt. The Ripper Hordes are now at her beck and call, and they bear more than a few resemblances to the Bandits on Pandora.
Borderlands 4 launches on September 12th for Xbox Series X/S, PS5, and PC for $69.99. It arrives on October 3rd for Nintendo Switch 2, though Gearbox hasn’t announced price. Check out some more gameplay here, showcasing Rafa’s Action Skills and upgrades.
