Fans asked for it and Bungie is (somewhat) primed to deliver. In its latest Weekly Update, community manager David “DeeJ” Dague outlined a list of fixes and changes to Destiny that the studio is targeting for patch 1.1.2. That’s the patch that will arrive before Destiny’s next expansion House of Wolves.
The two top priorities are more Vault space and fixes for the two raids currently in the game. Bungie hasn’t outlined how it will increase Vault space or which bugs it will fix in Vault of Glass or Crota’s End (aside from promising to tackle “their worst bugs”) but it’s certainly a start.
Other priorities include audio and visual options, how ammo crates will function in PvP and a closer look at Strikes, particularly why some are completed far less than others.
It should be noted that none of these features have been guaranteed for the next patch, but as DeeJ says, “The longer we support the Live Game, though, the more confident we feel about calling the shot. [Patch] 1.1.2 is still weeks away. That gives us plenty of time to delve into each point. We’ll talk about this again (starting next week).”
