Call of Duty: Black Ops 3 New DLC Proceeds All Go Towards Supporting Military Veterans

Activision and Treyarch are trying to support their military veterans.

On Veteran’s Day, Activision and Treyarch have announced brand new DLC for Call of Duty: Black Ops 3. The Call of Duty Endowment Valor Calling Card set, which comes with three animated cards, representing the land, air, and sea. It costs $4, and all proceeds from it go to the Call of Duty Endowment, which was established by Activision in 2009, and which provides funds to help American military veterans find jobs after their time in the military comes to an end.

“To date, the Call of Duty community has contributed over $1 million to our efforts to help veterans through the in-game program,” Call of Duty Endowment executive director Dan Goldenberg said in a statement. “With this funding, our grantees will place over 1,800 veterans into high quality jobs. Through this campaign alone, the Call of Duty community has essentially put an entire brigade back to work, which is tremendous.”

Treyarch studio boss Mark Lamia added, “Treyarch strongly supports the Call of Duty Endowment’s mission. The Calling Card program allows the Call of Duty: Black Ops III community the opportunity to easily contribute and make a meaningful impact to this worthy cause.”

You can buy the DLC for Xbox One, PlayStation 4, and PC. In addition to those platforms, the game is also available on Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3.
