Call of Duty Black Ops 3: Treyarch On DX12 Support, Controls, TAC 3.0 And Leaning

Some information from the Black Ops 3 Director of Development.

The Director of Development at Treyarch, developers of the upcoming Call of Duty Black Ops 3, has been on Twitter where he gave some frustratingly non-committal answers as well as some informative ones in response to fan questions.  When one gamer asked if there would be a leaning function in Black Ops 3, Cesar ‘pcdev’ Stastny simply replied that it is too early to say.

One other fan wanted to know if the game would be launching with DirectX 12 support, to which the dev director said they will be talking about graphical features later in the year. When one fan brought up the issue of hackers that generally spoil the fun for everyone, pcdev told him that the game will be launching with TAC 3.0 and a dedicated team of staffers that will exist solely to keep the game clean of such players.

It has also been confirmed that the control scheme in the game is customisable and that players aren’t locked to a default scheme. Call of Duty Black Ops 3 launches this November for the PS4, Xbox One and PC.
