Call of Duty: Black Ops 4 may include a battle royale mode, and it may be doing something radical by removing its single player campaign entirely, but the importance of the game’s Zombies mode takes precedence over all that for a large number of fans. Zombies has been part of Call of Duty since 2008’s World at War, and has been included in every Treyarch-developed Call of Duty since then, and it will, of course, be a part of Black Ops 4 as well.
We haven’t, however, heard much about the mode till now- that’s going to change soon. The schedule for Day 1 of San Diego Comic Con has gone live on the official Comic-Con website, and it’s been confirmed that there will be a Call of Duty: Black Ops 4 Zombies panel, which will take place Thursday, July 19 at 1PM Pacific.
The panel will be attended by Jason Blundell, the director of the Zombies mode, and Craig Houston, the lead writer. Part of the event will focus on the history of the mode as a celebration of its ten year anniversary, while a Q&A session is also on the docket. Meanwhile, there’s also going to be some “never-before-seen footage” and “exciting special announcements.” Treyarch’s official Twitter account has also put up a post to tease their panel. You can take a look at it below.
