If there’s one thing you can say about today’s world, it’s that there’s a lot of Call of Duty to play nowadays. Call of Duty: Modern Warfare not only has its standard multiplayer you’ve come to know and love, it also has the ongoing Warzone Battle Royale mode (the latter of which you can even download for free). And they’re both getting updates, the latest of which we now know when to expect.
As announced via the official Twitter, the third season will begin next week on April 8th. There’s not any information given here on what it will contain, and nothing has officially been announced. It’s fair to say you can almost assuredly expect more Operators, weapons, maps and all the other goodies from previous seasons. The progression for seasons carries over between Modern Warfare and Warzone‘s Multiplayer.
Call of Duty: Modern Warfare and Warzone are available now for PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC. Warzone is always free to play, but this weekend will also let you try out the other multiplayer options in Modern Warfare. You can also get blast from the past with Modern Warfare 2 Remastered, the restored campaign of the fan favorite.
