Along with double XP weekend – which includes double tier rewards as well – Call of Duty: Warzone players get another interesting bonus this weekend. Two of Call of Duty: Modern Warfare’s multiplayer maps are available to play from today. These are Shoot House and Atlas Superstore, and can be experienced completely free till April 6th.

It may seem like a limited initiative but it’s a good way for Warzone players to see if they enjoy the standard multiplayer enough to consider buying it. With Season Three around the corner for Modern Warfare, it’s a clever initiative for attracting more players. Now we’re just waiting to see what the next season has to offer in terms of content.

Those who aren’t interested in multiplayer can play Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 Campaign Remastered which includes the 2009 title’s campaign with updated visuals. It’s available only for PS4 but will be coming to Xbox One and PC later this month. Spec Ops and multiplayer aren’t included though so keep that in mind.
