Call Of Duty: Modern Warfare Battle Royale Mode Possibly Datamined – Rumor

Could dataminers have discovered the mode?

Call of Duty: Mobile may be tiding you over for your COD fix for now (though you won’t be doing it with controller support), but the main course is coming near the end of the month with Call of Duty: Modern Warfare. It’s also possible that we’ve got a little look at a potential Battle Royale mode that the game will have through some datamining.

In spite of many rumours, for the most part, Activision and Infinity Ward have been cagey on whether the game will have full Battle Royale mode, despite the previous game in the franchise, Black Ops 4, having it as a key point of the experience. It seems the folks at VGSources have taken a bit of a peek at the Beta’s code, and it lists multiple modes that are familiar to the franchise (such as Hostage, Ground War, Etc.). The interesting thing this is that Battle Royale is also listed (though it’s listed as only that and not Blackout, which is what it was called in Black Ops 4).

While it’s possible this means a Battle Royale mode is in the works for the popular shooter, it could also be code from testing or something of that nature. For that reason, we’ve got to post this under speculation for now. Either way, Call of Duty: Modern Warfare will release October 25th, and we’ll just have to see what modes come down the pipeline from there.
