Ever since its multiplayer reveal, Activision and Infinity Ward have spent great deal of time talking about the multiplayer component of the upcoming Call of Duty: Modern Warfare, from its maps, to the return of Killstreaks, to some of the interesting changes they’re making with the upcoming sequel, and a whole lot else. But it seems there’s still plenty that they’ve yet to reveal.
Speaking in an interview with Game Informer – which you can view below – Infinity Ward’s studio art director Joel Emslie said that “there are many” new multiplayer modes in the game that haven’t yet been unveiled. We’ve already seen the likes of Gunfight and Ground War, while the developers have also been reluctant to comment on whether Battle Royale will make it in, so it should be interesting to see what else they have up their sleeves.
Call of Duty: Modern Warfare launches on October 25 for the PS4, Xbox One, and PC, while a multiplayer beta will also be going live in September. Meanwhile, if you’re more concerned about the game’s single player campaign, don’t fret- apparently, campaign gameplay is going to be shown off “soon”.
