Call Of Duty: Modern Warfare Removes Realism Mode

The popular new mode was removed for unknown reasons.

A new Call of Duty is out, and much like you’d expect, there’s thing people do and don’t like about it as we must adjust to all the new stuff. It’s slower experience, for one. But one thing people were enjoying was the Realism mode, a gaming mode that saw no HUD, standard health and headshots as instant one-hit-kills. It was popular with the kind of people who loved that type of thing, but oddly, the last update took it out.

The last update did some minor updates to various aspects, but people also noticed that the Realism playlist is now gone. The mode isn’t completely gone, but in order to play with those rules you have to chose the returning night vision maps. Hardcore mode is still there, but it’s not entirely the same experience. As of now, there’s no word on why this was done or if the regular Realism playlist will return in the future. We’ll get you updated.

Call of Duty: Modern Warfare is available now on PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC.
