Call of Duty: Modern Warfare Patch Doesn’t Fix Footstep Volume, APCs Earning Nukes

Battle chatter has been removed from one-life modes though.

Two days ago, Infinity Ward released a new patch for Call of Duty: Modern Warfare. While it did help in a few ways – like removing battle chatter from modes with one-life – it failed to correct two key issues. The patch notes state that APCs and tanks no longer receive points for nukes in Ground War. Also, the volume of third person footsteps was said to be “adjusted”.

As it turns out, the issue with tanks and APCs receiving points in Ground War towards nukes still remains. Furthermore, as TheXclusiveAce showcased on YouTube, the change to footstep volume isn’t all that drastic. In fact, you’d be hard-pressed to notice any change at all.

Infinity Ward hasn’t seemingly addressed the issues and it seems that stuttering in cutscenes for the PC version’s campaign are still a thing. We’ll have to wait for more updates in the meantime. Check out the full patch notes below.
