Developer Raven Software and publisher Activision have unveiled the next major map making its way to Call of Duty: Warzone. Dubbed Urzikstan, the map features 11 points of interests, along with a host of smaller zones. The studio has described the map as “the Middle East meets Eastern Europe” in terms of design and aesthetics.
On the story side of things, Urzikstan has recently come out from under control of dictator Roman Barkov thanks to a joint operation between the CIA, SAS and the Urzikstan Liberation Force headed up by Farah Karim.
Points of interest in the new map include Levin Resort, Popov Power, Orlov Military Base, Seaport District, Urzikstan Cargo, Old Town, Low Town, Hadiqa Farms, Zaravan City, Zaravan Suburbs, and Shahin Manor.
More details about the new Urzikstan map are slated to be revealed as we get closer to the release of Call of Duty: Warzone‘s next season in December. Once it’s released, Urzikstan will be available for the Plunder mode by itself, and will join Vondel for the Battle Royale mode. Vondel will join Ashika Island for the Resurgence mode.
