Call of Duty: WW2 Runs in 4K on Xbox One X, As Per Game UK

Game UK pre-order page also indicates HDR and "Xbox One X Enhanced" support.

Sledgehammer Games’ Call of Duty: WW2 was pegged several months ago, even before the Xbox One X was officially revealed and named, to support 4K on Microsoft’s console. Now we get a bit of confirmation on the same, even if it’s not officially from Activision.

If you head over to Game UK’s preorder page for Call of Duty: WW2 on the Xbox One, the cover art (seen below) indicates that the game will support HDR along with 4K Ultra HD and “Xbox One X Enhanced”. That last point is usually for games that will feature graphical enhancements on the Xbox One X aside from a bump in resolution.

We’ve known for a while now that Call of Duty: WW2 will run at a dynamic resolution on PS4 Pro, ranging from 1440×1620 to 2880×1620 resolution. If the Xbox One X version can maintain a consistent 4K resolution, that too at native settings, it will be a significant leap forward over the PS4 Pro version.

Again though, you should wait for Activision and Sledgehammer Games to outright confirm it first. Call of Duty: WW2 is out on November 3rd for Xbox One, PS4 and PC while the Xbox One X arrives on November 7th.
