We had reported earlier on how early copies of Call of Duty: WWII would not work without patch. This was probably done so as to prevent the game from being leaked. Now that patch has been released for the PS4 version of the game, and its download size is 9.45 GB. This allowed early adopters of the game to jump into the game early and let them explore the various single-player modes in the game. Leaked footage of the game running on the PS4 has now been gathered from various sources. You can check them out here.
However, you can’t play the game online yet. The multiplayer servers of the game will most likely go live only on the official release date. We do not have information yet if the patch has gone live for the Xbox One version of the game, but it hasn’t yet for the PC.
The game looks interesting enough in the various clips but we’ll have to wait and see if it really will be able to revitalize the series. The setting does feel refreshing from what we’ve seen. Call of Duty: WWII is set to release on November 3rd for the PC, PS4 and Xbox One.
