Cradh Bandicoot N.Sane Trilogy Is All On One Cartridge on Nintendo Switch, Runs at 4K on Xbox One X

It also runs at 60fps on PC.

When Crash Bandicoot N.Sane Trilogy hits the Nintendo Switch, Switch owners will have a surprise waiting for them- the game will be one of the rare high profile third party releases that comes as is on the cartridge, requiring no download from the player. That’s right, all three games are on the cartridge. You just plonk it in, and you’re good to go. This is good on Activision.

Activision has confirmed that all DLC for the game, current and future, will be absolutely free for all players. They have also confirmed that improvements have been made to the game since its release last year, the most important of which is reduced load times. All these improvements are already available on the upcoming Switch, Xbox, and PC versions, and will also be released to PS4 owners via a free patch.

The PS4 version itself will see new discs go to retail at the same time as the other versions launch, featuring the updates and DLC in the package, as well as new cover art. Xbox owners will enjoy the game in full 4K on Xbox One X, while PC players can play it at a blistering 60fps (though the game will remain 30fps on consoles).

So- this is good news all around. Crash Bandicoot: N.Sane Trilogy launches on June 29 for Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, and PC, with the PS4 release having been a year ago.
