Crimson Desert Patch Adds Dedicated Tool Slot, Baby Wyvern Pet, and Lets Kliff Use Muskets

Twenty new species, a pond for the Greymanes' camps, re-blockades for bandit camps and ruins, and much more have also been added.

The latest update is now available for Pearl Abyss’s Crimson Desert, just in time for the weekend. And if the last one seemed a tad underwhelming in terms of features, patch 1.08.00 offers a lot more.

Firstly, there’s now a dedicated slot for equipping tools like the logging axe, broom, scythe, pickaxe, and so on. Now you’ll no longer swap to them when trying to equip a secondary weapon. For those keen on keeping fish, you can now construct a pond in the Howling Hill and Pailune Camps. It can only keep one Legendary Fish at a time, but having multiple species of the same fish will increase their overall number.

But that’s not all. You have 20 new species of small animals that serve as pets alongside a Baby Wyvern. Be sure to take good care of the latter, since it can become a full-fledged Wyvern mount in a future update.

On the combat front, Damiane and Oongka get their own version of the Focused Aerial Roll, but Kliff arguably makes out better because he can now utilize muskets and shotguns. If you were getting bored with the bow and arrow, then take note: That Infinite Arrows Abyss Gear will now work with firearms. Check out more of the changes below.
