Crysis Remastered Trilogy – PS3 vs. PS5 Comparison Trailer Released

Along with a higher resolution and frame rate, the remasters show improved textures, greater draw distance and more details on PS5.

Crytek has a new trailer available for Crysis Remastered Trilogy, this time comparing the visuals from the original PS3 versions with the remastered titles on PS5. There’s an immediate difference with regards to the resolution, frame rate and anti-aliasing but you can also see big improvements to the environmental textures, draw distance and effects. Crysis Remastered Trilogy includes Crysis Remastered, Crysis 2 Remastered and Crysis 3 Remastered. The first game is already available and following the trilogy’s release in Fall, the other two titles will also be sold standalone. The trilogy is currently in development for Xbox One, PS4, PC and Nintendo Switch with optimizations for current-gen consoles. It was recently revealed that Crysis 2 Remastered would target 60 FPS on PS5 and run at 1440p resolution. Stay tuned for more details on how Crysis 3 Remastered performs.
