Cyberpunk 2077 Confirmed for Google Stadia

CD Projekt RED's FPS/RPG will be playable on Google's streaming service.

During the latest Stadia Connect, it was revealed that CD Projekt RED’s Cyberpunk 2077 would be coming to Google Stadia. The first person RPG is slated to release for current gen consoles next year but with Stadia, you can effectively stream it across multiple devices. No new gameplay was revealed but the development team did talk about working with Keanu Reeves, living in the grim future of Night City and much more.

Cyberpunk 2077 will see players taking on the role of V, whose origins can be decided from the outset. You can opt to be an outsider to the city or a corporate slave that gets along well with the authorities. These life paths will determine how your character interacts with the world and its characters.

There’s plenty of customization to be had as well and Night City is simply massive in scope. Stay tuned for more news from Gamescom – the behind-closed-doors gameplay demo from E3 2019 will finally be showcased. Cyberpunk 2077 is out on April 16th, 2020 for Xbox One, PS4, PC, and Stadia.
