CD Projekt RED’s Cyberpunk 2077: Phantom Liberty is still several weeks away but continues to look ever-so sumptuous. In a new trailer on Twitter (with footage captured by @Much118x), the developer showcases some of the expansion’s new weapons and Update 2.0’s abilities that players can utilize.
There’s a lot to unpack, from the new weapons like sniper rifles, double-barreled shotguns and assault rifles to Relic Tree abilities like Launch Capacity Override for quickly firing off explosive shots. The best part is at 0:35 seconds, with the player activating slow-mo (almost like David in Cyberpunk: Edgerunners) and slaying one target after another with a throwing knife.
Cyberpunk 2077: Phantom Liberty launches on September 26th for Xbox Series X/S, PS5 and PC. Head here to see more new features like vehicular combat, revamped perks, and more. The police system is also getting an overhaul, adding Heat mechanic, which can bring in MaxTac if you’re not careful.
