CD Projekt RED’s Cyberpunk 2077 would have been one of the major new releases of Spring. Unfortunately, it faced delay to September for the sake of more polishing. On the bright side, it doesn’t look like the title will suffer any more delays. Studio head Adam Badowski recently tweeted the game has been sent to age rating agencies worldwide like PEGI, the ESRB and so on.
The age certification process is usually a good sign that a game is locked in for release. Badowski also noted that the team was working on “polishing technical aspects and play-testing. He said that the “Game is looking better and better with each passing day!”
Cyberpunk 2077 is currently slated to release on September 17th for Xbox One, PS4, PC and Google Stadia. Though we haven’t seen new gameplay footage in some time, CD Projekt RED has been making waves with the first person RPG in a number of ways. It recently revealed the reversible cover for the game which features the female version of V (albeit with slightly different design). The developer also confirmed that Xbox One owners of Cyberpunk 2077 will receive a free upgrade on Xbox Series X when the latter launches.
