Dark Souls Remastered Release Date For Nintendo Switch And Solaire Of Astora Amiibo Pushed Back To Summer

The game was initially set to release across all platforms on May 25.

It was initially announced  that Dark Souls Remastered would release simultaneously for all platforms on May 25. However, due to some unknown reason, Bandai Namco has now announced a change in the release period for the Nintendo Switch version of the game. Along with this, the Solaire of Astora amiibo will also release on the same date with the Switch.

What we know now is that the game will release for other platforms on the previously scheduled date of May 25. The Nintendo Switch version of the game however will only be out later in the summer. We’ll have to wait for some official information to learn why there is a delay in the game’s release for the Switch. The most plausible reason is that some issues still had to be ironed out on the Switch version.

If you want to know how exactly the remastered edition of the game differs from the original, you can read all about it here.
