Darksiders 3 is due out next year, and in many ways, it marks a departure from the previous games in the series so far. It’s the first game in the series to go fully open world, the first game to not be developed by Vigil Games, and it is also the first game in the series to embrace colors in its art and graphics. As a result, it looks far more visually arresting and eye catching right off the bat than the original two games ever did.
If you don’t believe me, take a look at the new concept art for the game, which was release today, below. It manages to strike the right atmosphere, while still look strikingly good. It bodes well for the full game, when it launches late next year.
