The next installment in the Darkisders saga, Genesis, is an action RPG spinoff that will see the playable debut of Strife as he teams up with War in prequel story. While the game isn’t a mainline entry, it looks like it’ll get the mainline treatment in regards to released editions of the game with two special editions for fans.
The first is a Collector’s Edition that includes a statue of Strife, an artbook, soundtrack, steelbook, stickers and, of course, the full game itself. It’s a pretty standard special edition by today’s standard. But next is something a little less so with the Nephilim Edition which includes everything from the Collector’s Edition with the addition of a full board game.
It’s a pretty wild and unexpected bonus, but so is the price. The Collector’s Edition is set at $109.99 USD while the Nephilim Edition is set for whooping $379.99 USD. That must be one hell of a board game for $270 extra. You can see a trailer for both editions below.
Darksiders Genesis will release later this year for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Switch, PC and Stadia. These editions will be available for all versions outside the Stadia one.
