Daymare 1998 Gets Launch Trailer Upon Game Release

A trailer to celebrate the game's launch.

Daymare 1998 has had quite the journey. It originally began as a fan remake of Resident Evil 2, and was then shifted into its own project after the actual remake of Resident Evil 2 was announced. The game is out now on Steam, and to celebrate the survival horror game’s launch, developer Invader Studios released a new trailer.

The launch trailer details some of the game’s story, setting and combat. Knowing the game’s origin, you can still feel a lot of the DNA from Resident Evil in what’s here, but if you’re looking for a good survival horror fix, definitely seems to scratch that itch with plenty of bloody combat and nasty creatures. You can also check out full hour of gameplay if want to see a little more of the game’s combat.

Daymare 1998 is available now for PC. A console version will release for PlayStation 4 and Xbox One at a later date.
